Shopping

There are numerous shopping establishments in Nantes, but here we will list some suggestions of shops close to Centrale Nantes. These are convenient shops especially if the student resides in the vicinity of the school. Note that most shopping establishments are closed on Sundays (there are some exceptions of course, but the big shops are closed).

If you want to locate more precisely all those shopping options, don't hesitate to consult the map here.

Supermarkets

Super U

Located near Line 2 tramstop Bourgeonnière, this is a semi small/medium supermarket and offers various everyday essentials.

E.Leclerc

Located near Line 2 tramstop Orvault Grand-Val, this is a hypermarket, offering everything from fresh produce, everyday essentials, electronics and clothing to homeware. Everything a student could possibly need, they can find here.

Students' Shop 44

Markets (Les Marchés)

The best place to go for fresh produce (veggies, fruit, cheese, meat, etc). We will recommend the closest markets or rather the ones popular with students.

  • Marché de la Petite Hollande - located near line 1 Tramstop Médiathèque; open on Saturdays from 08.00am to 1.15pm
