Living on campus

Located on campus, Residence Max Schmitt accommodates 72% of first year students. It features single rooms (studio), and collolacations (double rooms and 3 bedrooms appartments) settings.

French and International students who have been admitted and will be enrolling for the first year of the Engineering Programme are automatically offered a place in this Residence. BDE (Bureau Des Élèves) administers all the bookings.


Features of the residence:

  • Each room is fitted with cupboards, individual geyser, bed, desk, bathroom facilities
  • Kitchen equipped with a fridge, 2 hotplates, sink, storage space
  • Car and bike parking, storage area for windsurfing equipment
  • Internet access, laundry, TV room

How to get there?

From the Airport (Aéroport Nantes Atlantique)

To get from the Airport to Residence Max Schmitt, there are 2 options

 

Option 1

Take the Airport shuttle "Navette Aéroport" from the airport to Nantes City Centre and drop off at Stop "Commerce", then take Tramline 2 direction Orvault Grand Val and drop off at Stop "Ecole Centrale - Audencia). The residence is about a minute walk from the Tram stop (see map).

Option 2

Take bus 48 to Neustrie (5 min), then Tramline 3 direction Marcel Paul and drop off at Stop "Commerce". At Commerce take Tramline 2 direction Orvault Grand Val and drop off at Stop "Ecole Centrale - Audencia). The residence is about a minute walk from the Tram stop (see map).

 

From the train station (Gare de Nantes)

Take Tramline 1 direction Jamet/François Mitterrand and drop off at Stop "Commerce". At Commerce take Tramline 2 direction Orvault Grand Val and drop off at Stop "Ecole Centrale - Audencia). The residence is about a minute walk from the Tram stop (see map).
