Integration

Integration in Centrale Nantes (also called "inté") is a full month of events in September.  These activities are organized by second year students and include a visit of Nantes, barbecues, parties, presentations of the clubs and the WEI. For you, it is a great opportunity to get to know others fresh year students and to discover student life in Centrale Nantes and its 110 clubs and associations. 

During the second weekend of September, an integration weekend takes place in a campsite, and every student is invited. Activities and parties will be organized. The theme of the weekend and the location are kept secret until the first week of September. The cost of the weekend is approximately 150€.

At the beginning of the school year (the first week), you will be sent a form with a few questions about your tastes and interests, in order to put you in a « family » of three to seven second year students with other fresh year students. This system of godfathers and godmothers aims to facilitate your integration at Centrale Nantes, meet some new people and make some friends. Participation is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended. Your Godparents are also here to answer your questions about school, classes, clubs, and second-year options. 

The first Friday night of the school year is reserved for the meeting between second and fresh years. They gather at one of the Godparents’ apartment to eat and party together. The following day, there will be olympiades between families to get to know each other better. 

ACCENTS will organize a few activities specifically for international students just like you! French students are also welcome but it mainly aims at integrating international students. 
Last year a paintball game and a day-trip to the beach were organized. Stay tuned to see what is planned for you this year.
